The fetal pig is an excellent specimen for dissection because it's organs and functions are a close representation of a human. These specimens are prepared using our "Safe-Way" fixative that contains no formaldehyde or formalin. The chemicals utilized are consumed completely during the fixation process and are converted into cross-linked proteins that are not toxic with no smelly fumes.
